Birmingham's flagship Port Loop launches new buyer incentives

‘Birmingham’s Island Community’, Port Loop has launched a range of new buyer incentives, with leading social enterprise Places for People (PfP) offering a series of limited time deal for prospective homeowners.  

One of the flagship regeneration schemes delivered through the Urban Splash and Places for People joint venture, the multi-tenure community is transforming a former 43-acre brownfield site into a thriving new canal-side neighbourhood within walking distance of Birmingham city centre.  

In recognition, buyers reserving at the award-winning Mansion House during October can benefit from a Deposit Boost incentive worth up to £3000 on their share.  

The two- bedroom apartments, designed by ShedKM architects, feature an en-suite and a balcony overlooking the canal.  

At Lloyd Park, PfP is also offering up to £10,000 off the list price for The Eden. Set over three floors, the four-bedroom town house is a modern family sized home with Juliet balconies, en-suite, dedicated home office space, energy efficient heating systems, EV charging points and fully turfed enclosed gardens. Assisted Move and Part Exchange options are also available at Lloyd Park.

The development has attracted industry recognition, winning regeneration and placemaking awards and receiving architectural acclaim for its design-led approach. Supporters view it as an example of how former industrial land can be repurposed to help meet Birmingham’s housing needs while creating a new community close to the city centre. 

Since work began, Urban Splash and Places for People have helped create a number of new community assets, including green and community spaces with South Loop Park - central Birmingham’s first new public parkland in over a decade. The development has also delivered a range of multi-tenure homes and created a place for creative and community activity space, including YARD Art House and Tubeworks, a 100,000sq ft cultural hub.
